Region Stockholm has a well-diversified funding structure. Our funding sources include established funding programmers but also bilateral loans as well as leasing.
Euro Medium Term Note programme

A total of approximately 29,1 billion SEK has been borrowed through the above programmes per 2020-01-31.
Bilateral loans from the European Investment Bank (EIB) are related to specific investments in transport and health care in the Stockholm region. The amount as of 2020-01-31 was approximately SEK 16,7 billion with an additional SEK 7,8 billion in unused facilities. Another SEK 1 billion has been borrowed through the Nordic Investment Bank (NIB).
Credit Facilities – as of 2020-01-31 Stockholm County Council had credit facilities totalling SEK 5,5 billion.
AB SL, the company owned by Region Stockholm that manages public transport, had leasing commitments of approximately SEK 5,0 billion as of 2020-01-31.
